Hi Zaid,
ok I understand what you meen and it could be a nice Idea to drive a E24 Coupe with the equipment from
the M2. I drive my E24 635 CSI only in somertime but you can drive The M2/E24 every day. And if you can do the switch E24/M2 by yourself so it would not be so expensive. The only objection that i have, you destroy 2 very valuable cars. My suggestion is you buy one E24 and one M2 so you can drive a beautiful historic E24 and a new M2. Please think about this suggestion, from which country you are?

Sorry, das kostet einen Haufen Geld was du niemals wiederbekommst weil das Ding ist wenn du fertig bist ne Bastelbude sondergleichen. Es wird billiger sein nen zweier als Daily zu fahren und den E24 so zu lassen wie er ist und nur "bei schönem Wetter" zu fahren.

hey, yes exactly wut am thinking of. and true i do not have tuv to worry about.
the e24 is a gift from my dad, and its a car i love. looks really nice on the road.
the idea here is to have sth i can enjoy on an every day basis. the f22 is a fantastic car to drive.
it would great if u have any links to the e9 u mentioned. would love to see it, and maybe contact the person who did it, to hear some feedback.

true, but my end result is a saving option.
every car loses value by day, however a classic car will only go up in value.
so this will be my daily car and no matter the price i wont be thinking of selling or replacing it. coz i d be driving a timeless model

hey man, maybe i didnt explain it right.
what am looking for is the body and interior of 235i, and exterior look of the e24.
the main reason for that, is to make it an every day car. so i can drive it with all the modern luxury yet with its classic look.

Nachtrag:
Leider ist die Umbaustory von 2000 nicht mehr auf zu finden, es
sollte sogar eine Cabrio-Version mit M60-Motor in Arbeit gewesen sein.
Es gibt aber Nachahmer von 2022.
Soweit ich mich erinnere wurden diese zuletzt in Rumänien dann gebaut.

Nein,es war ein E31,an dem die Jungs die Karosse vom Wolga angepasst haben.
Da der Wolga in der Breite ja ein Schmalfuß war hat man durch einschweißen von
Blechstreifen die Proportionen angepasst.

In Jahren vor dem Ukrainekrieg haben unsere russischen Freunde
aus der E31 Community einen E31 in einer Wolga Karosserie Implementiert.
Das war ein wirklich gefälliges Fahrzeug.
Leider ist der Verbleib dieses Fahrzeug ein Rätsel.
Also warum nicht?

Ich vermute er meint auch die e24 Karosse auf einen m2 zu setzen,
Vom Radstand her passt es auf jeden Fall, ob es den Aufwand Wert ist, bleibt jedem selber überlassen. Es gibt auch einen e9, der auf einen V8 M5 gesetzt wurde, sieht eher bescheiden aus, ich finde aber Original Karossen mit neueren Zutaten ausgesprochen gut.
Und da er in Englisch schreibt, ist die Frage nach dem TÜV wohl eher überflüssig, das erleichtert solche Umbauten erheblich.

Andersrum würde ich es vielleicht verstehen Karosse vom 6er auf die Technik vom 2er umzubauen aber eine 2er Karosse auf ein 6er Fahrgestell?
